Strum Magazine The new CD from Guy Gilchrist features two sides, "Merry Christmas, Sluggo (San Quentin School for Boys)" and "Christmas Light." "Merry Christmas, Sluggo (San Quentin School for Boys)" is a nod to Johnny Cash’s music. Guy says, "This song is dedicated to those who helped to turn my life around – Brenda Lee, Johnny Cash, my cartoonist heroes, Santa Claus, and God." Guy hopes these songs have "you laughing, dancing, and feeling good! I hope it brings back memories of being a little kid trying to get from Santa's ‘Naughty’ list to his ‘Nice’ list before Christmas morning!"
Anyone who gives a suggested donation of $10 at the door will receive a personalized CD from Guy Gilchrist! Nashville, TN (November 10, 2009) – This year, Christmas will arrive before Thanksgiving at the Listening Room Café in downtown Nashville!
